B20 into EK, Motor sits funny.
I just finished putting a b20 into my EK Coupe, I used the timing belt mount that came on the motor I have 99-00 Si bracket as well but I didn't use it. But I put the motor in and everything lined up and I finished bolting everything together. But when you look at the motor you can tell the timing belt side of the block sits quite a bit lower then the rest of the motor. I can't figure out what is causing it to do this, is it cause I used the CRV timing belt bracket or what?
Alright cool thanks, I was just in a hurry to type this I know I didn't use the correct chassis code and **** for the car lol I just wanted to try and get an answer as fast as I could so I could fix it.
Look, 99% of the cars called EKs on here aren't EKs. Telling people that only pisses them off and never teaches them anything though. It never sticks. They'll keep calling them EKs so your battle isn't even an uphill one, it's a useless one.
Had to be done.

Also, just as a side note you can use the fluid filled mount from a CR-V in a '96 - '00 Civic as well, I think it's stronger, it has a different part number, but it fits the same. I have personally done it before and it works, CR-V engine harness also works in a '96 - '00 Civic ('97 - '98 harness for '96 - '98 Civic, '99 - '01 harness for '99 - '00 Civic)
