Default Koni Sport/Eibach Pro-Kit...sway bars?

I read through a lot of threads last night about sway bars, and the people who seemed to know what they were talking about basically said "match your sway bar to your suspension and driving intention." which makes perfect sense.

As noted in the title, I just put on some Koni yellows, and pro-kit springs. The car is a 91 Si, and it will only be a DD with spirited runs in the summer and -maybe- an Auto-X or two. Would it be worth while for me to upgrade my sways? or would the benefit be lost on a DD with my current suspension setup?

What is your current sway setup?

Those that say match the bar's strength to the suspension and your needs/driving style are right. In theory there is an ideal range of stiffness you want, and that is a function of your preferences, the current suspension stiffness, and how you will use the car. FYI : Most people who auto-x remove the front sway and add a stiffer rear sway to induce oversteer (which may be too much for some).

Do you have a rear sway?
I installed an oem rear sway on my crx DX (that came without one). I also ordered the Poly bushings for both and installing the rear bar was one of the best things I have done for the car's handling.

Currently I'm running stock Si sways. I have poly bushings for the sways, and new oem bushings for the rest of the suspension, which will be installed in the spring.

People who give advice for auto-x/rr say to ride the car stock for a while so you learn the car and how to drive the **** out of it in it's current condition. (it is more difficult and important that you become the best driver you can be and learn the limits and behaviors of your chassis)

Then you can assess the most beneficial upgrades within your budget. You get the appropriate upgrades and re-learn how the car behaves with the changes.

Since "feeling" is so subjective, the only thing that can be measured is:
Did it improve lap times [for you]?
