Hey guys,

Long time lurker, finally decided to sign up!

Been having this issue with my 2003 Accord V6.

Its been a couple of days its been fine but today the car simply turns off completely as soon as I put it into III on ignition. When I put it into I or II all the lights are on, radio works, everything works. But as soon as I try to turn it on by turning key the whole way, all the electricity turns off and nothing works. Not the lights, not the locks, windows nothing.

I have to keep opening the door and closing it over and over until finally I can use it again and try to turn it on again.

Battery is brand new, I have been told several times that it may be the battery. Another weird thing is when it finally does get the electricity back, the radio would have reset and locked. So I believe everything resets in the car.

Any feedback is appreciated.

 

Could be a weird ground problem. It doesn't take a lot to have that happen. One loose ground could kill your whole car. Check the ground points out I will willing to bet that is the main problem with your car. My buddy had a ground bolt break off and he had all kinds or weird stuff happen.

 

I am not sure if its a wiring problem. I left it parked for 3 hours or so and tried again and it worked. Weird. Its happened before though - so not sure what to make out of it.
