Default time for bigger brakes

I been wanting to upgrade my brakes on my 91 civic dx hb but still have a few questions left....I was planing on putting some legend dual piston calipers now I heard you can use 28t brackets with dc2 knuckles and mini cooper 11" rotors and it all bolts up with no modifications needed....wondering if anyone done this or if it true that on mods are needed?....next what car are the 28t brackets off of? I've read on them but can't find what car they are from....I also read that the dc2 knuckles will give me positive camber but if I have a camber it shouldn't be a problem, correct? And last will my stock brakes lines work or do I need to get some made or use the one from the legend? I will be using a 15/16 MC and a 40/40 prop as well....

Mybad 4040 lol....well I have read a lil more and changed a few of my plans...

DX knuckles
Mini cooper rotors
Legend calipers
23t or 25t bracket
15/16 MC
4040 prop

I still couldn't find what car to find those brackets on or how to ID them....are they stamped?

dx knuckle + legend caliper and bracket = 10.3" integra rotor, you CANNOT use 11" rotors as the caliper will not clear it. 11.1" setup only work on "ex" knuckle. The bracket "id" are all stamped on the caliper itself, so whatever it say on the caliper is whatever bracket they have.

I personally used

dx knuckle
legend caliper + 23T bracket
hwaks hp plus
10.3" integra rotor

= step on the brake hella hard and lock up all my wheels on the track.

upgrade your MC too, i have stock one and no matter how I bleed them they are stilll soft as hell...

apparently you haven't read correctly pkdog, it's been done before and is do able, you just have to mill the brackets a bit.

its all here in this thread (https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/diy-11-1%22-brakes-dx-knuckles-long-last-2211517/) found in the faq

o/p if i were you i'd also source a 1" mc and bb combo from an itr, prelude vtec, legend, etc. if you're also doing the 10.3" rear brakes

Ex knuckles with redrilled 11 inch prelude rotors, I heard you might even be able to run the spoon 4 pot calipers as well(I heard) and I also I think when you put the legend calipers upside down

Ok I thought I read correctly the 11.1 just require a little bit of milling but the calipers will clear and work properly... So the bracket is stamped on the caliper itself then, so what models did the 23t and 25t bracket come on? And pkdog did you use your stock lines one the legend calipers?

I believe the older legend came with 25t and the newer one came with 23t. I reused my stock line with no problem

If you can still get one the Fastbrakes 11" kit is pretty nice for the money, also if you wanted to spend a little more the 11" Wilwood kit w/4 piston calipers is only $500.
