Whats going on everyone, just want to give everyone a heads up before it happens to anyone else. before i start let me give everyone how i got into this company. http://www.bwrusa.com/Default.asp i went into a local performance shop looking for a coil-over system for my daily driver (RSX). they were the new "hot item" and the system was dirt cheap. the owner (a friend of mine) had a good rep and told me this kit was "solid". Reading up on coilover systems before i purchase any, it seemed they were all made from the same manufacture but branded differently. Knowing i was using this car for daily driven purposes, i was in! Opened the box and they look well made but boy i was in for a surprise!! I have installed countless of coil over system installation was a breeze! a year after installed well i would let the pictures speak for themselves....

yea scary huh? i don't know who i have to thank i was just pulling into my driveway that day but what would have happened on the highway? busy street doing 20 m.p.h?? i was a lucky man i was just going 1 m.p.h.. being furious at this point i called the company urgently, and they told me to send pictures. they said they will report back to me as soon as they receive them, i had to call numerous times to talk to the manager. the sales rep was a cool guy but that company is a fu*ckery! i expedited the coil over back to the company and they received it on November 21. its December 20th and ask me if they even called me or emailed to tell me the coilover is on its way? NO!!!! i just called them and they simply told me "Sir we don't have the part to fix it, when we receive it from (China??) we will send it back". All this time i have been renting a car and my bill has surpassed $800! by this point i don't want to do anything with this company. i don't want to spend any time or money in this B.S company and i hope their company fails! i wish i had the time and monies to sue there company to the fullest extent! i hope people learned from me and don't buy anything from this company..

Having brand new shocks leak on you in a short amount of time or w/e is one thing.

Having year old struts completely break and fail in a matter that it puts your life and others at risk, that's going a bit far...

To top it all off, sounds like their customer service sucks.

I'm sure there will still be people swearing by this company since they havn't had issues with their products on their cars...yet....

day by day i was blessed, i was thinking about the worse possibilities. it could have been a very ugly situation. mind you, this whole set up has run me about 2 grand. $750 coil over, $800+ rental car (and still renting), 100 for expedite shipping..

its sad people would still rep these types of companies... my life is more important than a B.S company.

File with your local small claims court. When they fail to show to represent themselves, send the claim off to a collection agency.

op, i think you made your own damn bed by renting a shitty car.

- put stock or aftermarket suspension on the car, either all 4 or just the 1 corner, whichever you fee. surelyit wouldnt have costed you 800 dollars to throw a strut on that corner.

I agree I don't see why you wouldn't have just put the stock ish back on instead of ******* yourself by renting a car. and if you dot have a stock set up, I'm sure it would be very inexpensive to find used compared to renting some turd.
you should change the title of this thread to call them out, I GUARANTEE blackworks will not come in here to say ****. all the random little companies that pop up ie blackworks and whoever else, I don't know the others, should be an immediate red flag to not buy from. look at it this way, if the deal sounds a little too good to be true it is, hands down.

Stock suspension wasn't available because of thieves. people are asking ridiculous prices for a stock set up, 200+.

I disagree with some of you guys... when a person buys a coilover product, nomatter what company is selling it - it should not just fail after a year of use... that's just rediculous.

Hope you get compensated somehow OP...

yeah definitely.. blackworks is a pretty big company too I thought? or at least they make and sell a wide range of products. if this happens to a coilover, what does that say about the quality of their other products?

meh...

i truly never understood why people buy shitty products like this. to those who like to go the cheap route with lower quality pieces, you get what you paid for, dont be mad and make a thread about it, people on here told you about it long before the purchase.
