Default Question(s) on a 275/50/15 drag radial

I'm wondering if I can fit 275/50 MT radials on a 4 lug si rim. I dont mind having to roll the fenders if necessary but would there be any steering clearance issues? any help is appreciated

Not listing the car will prevent this from being answerable.

And while those are huge tires, both in diameter and width, since we're talking about drag radials, why would steering clearance matter? There's no corners on the drag strip...

Someone else, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe that drag radials are intended for actual street use.

And if the car will primarily be on the street, you should use the correct sized tires for the car (195/50-15 in this case).

the correct size tire wont provide enough traction, and plenty of people use drag radials on the street, whether thats what their intended for or not
