Default What exhaust can you recommend?

I need to 'revamp' my exhaust setup... right now i have (from the downpipe) , stock cat. , 2.25'' piping ( crush bent ) and universal straight through muffler. well, since the downpipe and cat, don't match up exactly, I think they are differnet sizes, once i get that fixed, what muffler 's are available out there, 1 that are quiet-er, and 2 are straight through? My exhaust sounds like total *** right now.... I don't want to attract attention really, and I don't wanna lose power with a stock muffler. I see the ES oval muffler is available ( at jdmhondaparts.com as well as inlinefour.com ) and that looks really nice... stock, and straight through.. but I'm just afraid of that buzzy sound... I don't want sound like every others 'so called ricer out there' ,.... if it comes down to it... and i can't find one that is what i need. then i'm getting a stock one...

any input?

The ES oval does not have a "buzzy" sound. You can get 2.25" or 2.5" piping. It really depends on what you have planned for your future mods though.

well, just want it to sound smooth, and not buzzy, i think it's just because i got a cheap *** muffler.. from a local performance shop..

but still want the 2.25'' piping, just wanted input on a muffler style...

well i just saw a thread with someones setup and I think that's what i'm gonna do..

Dynomax 2.25" muffler from autoparts store
Glasspack (32")
keep the 2.25'' piping

-really cheap
- looks completely stock
- Sounds stock at idle and it has a nice deep growl at WOT

that's what i'm lookin for..

looks pretty nice.. except that it doesn't look like that would fit my car.... My exhaust pathway is fairly straight.... and that piping has a serious bend in it.

nice though
