Seriously at a ****ing loss of words I changed filter changed cap changed rotor changed wires getting good spark and doing the same ****

 

are you getting fuel at all?

 

Yup so tested spark on coil its short and whiye not long and blue so thinking thats whats going on

 

Is it turning over?have you checked all your engine grounds?

 

Yeah there's previous posts on here couple down saying everything thats going on all it does it crank won't turn over at all I'm really thinking it is the coil due to the fact its getting a very weak spark

 

Could be the coil. Did you test the ignitor also?

 

Ignitor is good

 

Does it start at all with added fuel?

 

Haven't put extra gas in but took the injectors out one clogged put them back in tried starting nothing then listened for pump to kick on and nothing doesn't turn on when key is on 3rd click could that be a relay or just the whole pump? I just don't understand how it could bw the pump seeing as when I did the filter there was gas shooting out the lines

 

Try switching out ur ignition switch....i had a similar problem where my car wont start and sometimes it would randomly shut off while driving...switched out my ignition switch and solved the problem

 

Today I was driving down the road in my Honda Prelude and it stalled on the F'ing freeway, I had to tow it to PEP boys and they told me I need a new engine, It wouldn't turn over but the battery would still work

 

After the problem I been having, this ain't bad.

Jump your main relay.

Jump power from yellow/blue to the yellow wire(fuel pump power supply) and yellow black(3).

 

What the hell does this have anything to do with the situation honestly
Just because a motor won't turn over doesn't mean you need a new engine

 

I'm not sure I'm understanding what your saying to do take out my main relay? Cuz i was thinking of just checking my fuel pump relay and if thats good do one more check to hear if my pump kicks on and pressurize before starting

 

You took it to a parts store for diagnosis? Take it to someone who knows what they're doing.

Jump the relay. You have no pulse width, no fuel pressure or both.

Run a good ground to pin 2. I just had the same problem with my 93 prelude. Fuel pump wouldnt turn on when key is on. ran a ground and it started right up.

Where did you run the ground from and to?

 

I ran a ground from the chassis(wrapped a wire around the trunk release bracket as it was there and easy as the interior was out of the car) to pin 2 of the main relay, it is a solid black with silver dots on it. see the diagram above. When I posted about my issue, a few guys said this relay and connectors go bad.

Thanks man I'm going to get up early before work tomorrow and try and pull the relay out I lnow they are hard to locate but going to take it out look at the sauter if its bad there should be a joint cracked hopefully its that if not going to be getting a pump

 

So referring to this picture I ripped the under dash apart and cannot find the relay anywhere do you guys maybe have a self picture you took yourselves that could be a little more descriptive of where it is pleas

 

Easy money, biggest relay. It's bolted on the left hand side of the steering columnat the top closer to the dash(if it's still OG)

 

So finally got my relay out and it doesn't look like any of the joints of the sauter are messed up heres a pic let me know what you think
