Default icm or main relay or timing?

ok the other day my car just quit working, its a 1992 honda accord lx. had a friend (whos a mechanic) come over and tested the spark plugs with a timing light. he said that it had spark but a very weak spark and said the ignition coil was bad, so i went and replaced that and tried starting it up nothing. it didnt start. so i went all out and went ahead and replaced the distributor cap, rotor. spark plug wires and spark plugs. tried starting it up and now have absolutely no spark. could it be the icm in the distributor as it makes it spark? or the main relay as hondas always have trouble with them or could it be that the timing belt broke/chiped a tooth and got off. but if it was the timing wouldnt it still spark?

i believe i ruled out the main relay as it is part of the fuel which the car is getting cause i smell it and hear the pump turning on when i turn the battery on

You're right about the main relay, I think. Have you tested the battery?

Check your intake manifold ground wire. If thats loose or corroded, it will not spark.

I'd check for fuel just to be sure. And if that checks out I'd get a used igniter from the junkyard.

If you were getting no spark or regular colored spark that would be one thing. The fact that you're getting weak spart I believe should narrow it down to either the igniter or coil.
