RIP Jason. V8 Supercars is one of my favorite series.

I like your article more. This is another unfortunate instance where the whole "it can happen to anyone" thing comes into play. Its just ashame he was so damn young and left behind two kids.

I can only hope that we don't have any more motorsports related deaths for a while. Wheldon, Simoncelli, now Richards and I know there are people I'm forgetting.

 

At least Richard's passing was health related, not a motorsports accident.

Those are just the famous ones....
There was a local high schooler that died racing motorcross, and a racer in the Silver State Classic open road race that crashed.

 

That's a shame. Back to back with Dan Wheldon...

 

I'm not positive it was the same guy but they had him in a brief interview before one of the races this year. I can't recall which one, He knew his was terminal and seem to be enjoying himself. Even joked about how he shrunk. Very sad.

 

35 is indeed too young to go.
Those kids, and wife will miss him terribly.
Life is precious guys... Live everyday like its your last, and make it all count.
You arent promised tomorrow.

 

Always eat dessert first, you never know if you are going to survive the meal.
