nice... if you get the k20a2 head your gonna need to swap out your intake manifold for an ep3 manifold or type-s and its not recommended to rev that combo to high because the A3 bottom end isn't built to handle it. What k24 head we talking about here?

I'm sorry but I laughed.... you first said you would like to make "little mods"

then you go and start listing you want to do a head swap?! lol What's little about that.

The A3 is worthless in my opinion (no offense to all) and the rods are definitely a weak point. If you are talking about a head swap you should just look into swapping the entire engine out to a k20a2 and kpro. Either way kpro is an obvious mod when talking about any power or performance gains.

my honest opinion don't be a JDM fan boy.. the k20a type-r engine is nothing to much more special than the type-s engine. The k20z1 is practically a type-r engine. For less than 3k you can drop a k24a2 full engine in there and it would be a whole NEW car... you'd be killing people.

where can I do a k20a2 swap for less than 3000$? So far engine and tranny alone is almost 3000$

Well, that post is from 2011, you know. I do agree that there's no way you'll see the price that he's quoting on a full swap these days.
