Default For those running spacers and do not want extended wheel studs

I came across this and use this myself on my ITR. I hate the look of extended wheel studs hence this was my choice. This is particularly useful for those with Spoon calipers.

I now run the REAR 1996-1998 Acura TL wheel studs instead of the ITR. It allows for a wheel spacer of up to 10mm and still be able to run a closed ended lug nut.

Part Number: 90113-SD2-005

TL wheel studs are .375 inches = 9.375mm longer.

Here is a pic that I came across to show the comparison as I did not take the pic myself.

Just thought this might help some people that want to run more wheels and did not know.

If this is useless information to the community as a majority or a repost, please just lock it.

The question is can you install them without grinding them or taking off the hub???

The proper way is to take off the hub. That is what I did.

To shave or grind down the part you are talking about will take a substantial amount of grinding.

I meant grinding the the wheel stud so that you are able to angle it in. Like so

Yep. Oldie but a goodie. I miss the days of folks combing through the parts bin to get OEM solutions.

So you've found a way to not run extended studs by installing extended studs? Ok then.

I think your missing the point. this info is great for some of us like my self who's running 10mm spacers and just need a few more turns to properly secure the wheels and would like to avoid using overly extended studs that may not allow the use of close ended lug nuts which i myself plan on using.... Saved me some research which i dont mind doing thanks gosu for the re-post

I found a way to run extended studs without having to run open ended lugs with ugly *** studs sticking way out from my wheels.

Yes they are OEM wheel studs. Just look up the number from Acura for the particular car listed in my first post. Too lazy to search myself for it.

post up a proper part number because 90113-SD4-902 is same for 96-98 tl v6 and 97-00 itr
so could only be usefull for 01 itr brakes but I also dont have a stock stock here for referance to see if its shorter
did find this though
90113-SD4-902 length 1.89
90113-SA0-025 length 1.97
90113-SJK-901 length 2.29 (atleast says in catalog)
90113-STK-A01 length 2.32(atleast says in catalog)

I changed my original post to have the part number. They are the rear studs of a TL.

Part number I gave to my friend that works at Acura when I ordered: 90113-SD2-005
