Blown Strut what are my options
I just blew one of my rear struts on my H&R ultra low coilovers for my Crx
I contacted H&R and was told it would be $345 for a new strut i would just replace it but i have no idea how old the coils are and if another one is going to blow soon. I don't really like the rear coils anyway I am looking for something much stiffer like the fronts. I am just wondering what options i have for replacing the rears without having to buy a whole set of coils

I was just going to take a look at all the other coils to see if there was any signs of leaking or anything like that. I would be pretty pissed to replace another shock on coils I don't even like
Replace all. Koni/GC or AMR Engineering if you want lifetime warranty or Progress CSII good quality, great price.

$345 for a new strut?
Progress charges like $65 for a new strut. I would think H&R could sell you one for ~$100-150.
I would wager the H&R struts are rebuildable, you could have the whole setup rebuilt for $400-600.
Or you could buy a set with a lifetime warranty like Tokico, AMR, or Koni.
