Are the D16A6 and the D15B2 cranks exactly the same besides the stroke? The stroke of the D16A6 is 90mm and the D15B2 is 84.5mm, but are they the same otherwise? Do they use the same main and rod bearings? Also, are the rods from the D16A6 and the D15B2 the same length? Thanks in advance.

 

i believe the rod length is different for both motors, but don't quote me, i don't know too much about D series, because i don't own one.

 

bearings will almost definitely be different. the only real way to tell is to look at the bearings and they should be stamped what size they are.
