hey guys i have a 93 eg hatch with a h2b swap, now i get a check engine light and it reads 7 fast flashes which is TPS. now the motor is from a 97 prelude h22a, i have checked my old tps and it reads 0.46 closed and 4.50 at WOT, now i got a new TPs and the readings are about the same, after a few times of reseting i got for a drive and it pops up again, voltage seems fine, i calibrated it just perfect but i cant seem to find a answer. and sometimes wen the light is off with no CEL the car starts to buck and drive funny, until the light pops back on than it drives good.

is there any other place i can check, because i did swap it with a new sensor and nothing

That happened on my brothers h22 ek and we had the wrong connector on the TPS...

 

i can see that happening, but i already swapped the plugs and wen i do so, it wont stay on, but wen i swap them to the correct places it idels fine, just get the tps cel, and now it idles at 1300 consistanly, so at this point i dont think is the tps,

 

Anyone been messin with the idle screw on the throttle body?

 

no sir just swapped the sensors.


does anyone know any other checks i can do in relation to my tps problem? wow like lots of views and no help really. im sorry its not a turbo build

 

thats sad, 2 days and no one can help with a single tps sensor, bump for some input
