hey guys i have a 93 eg hatch with a h2b swap, now i get a check engine light and it reads 7 fast flashes which is TPS. now the motor is from a 97 prelude h22a, i have checked my old tps and it reads 0.46 closed and 4.50 at WOT, now i got a new TPs and the readings are about the same, after a few times of reseting i got for a drive and it pops up again, voltage seems fine, i calibrated it just perfect but i cant seem to find a answer. and sometimes wen the light is off with no CEL the car starts to buck and drive funny, until the light pops back on than it drives good.

is there any other place i can check, because i did swap it with a new sensor and nothing, and yes i did check if i had the tps and map backwards and i dont think i do, because the car shuts off if i swap them, so i tried.

Is the engine harness in good condition? meaning to spliced up wires or switched wires etc.. you can always try the other tps sensor or complete throttle body on the car and see what happens.

i mean im sure the harness is good, i can look at it again, but the other sensor is the same way, it pops back up. the only thing i didnt try is the whole throttle body, which i wouldnt think is bad, unless Tb do go bad? but i will look at the harness, any other places i can put the voltmeter or anyother checks i can do before i do get another TB
