01 civic with heavy steering
Hello
This is my first thread so bear with me.
I have a 01 honda civic with a problem with the power steering. When the car is stopped and still running the steering you could turn with your finger but when you drive the car it gets heavy a very noticable heavy.
Now the car has a electric power steering pump and i have checked the fluid its ok and i seperated the track rod end from the shock to just make sure that the wheels would turn left and right freely wit out the steering connected and both sides are ok. Tracking is ok i checked it, i just dont no what could be worng with it so any help would be greatly appericated.
Also im looking for the radio code s/n is -removed-
Thanks

An electric power steering pump? Did you add that yourself? If so, I would check to see if it is creating enough pressure to feed in to the rack properly.
As for your radio code, we do not permit discussion of that information on Honda-Tech simply from a theft perspective. You'll have to contact your local Honda dealership to get that information.
