I got my alternator rebuilt and i got my batter fully recharged yesterday, and today I went to turn on my car and for some odd reason it wouldnt turn on cause the battery was too weak and somewhat low after few tries of turning on the car the battery was just too low. what could be causing this?
ohh and also on good days the car turns on when it wants to. what can cause that?

My friends great grandma looks good from far away too, I'd just double check connections and ground. Wiggle them around see if any shake loose. You say it starts when it wants to, is this after the rebuilt altenator and everything? If that's so then it can only be a handfull of things. Maybe the battery was just a bad one from the get go. I was gonna say maybe something is pulling power when it's not supposed to but if it starts fine just randomly after you've done all that then I doubt that's a factor.

i was thinking of the main relay and and igniton switch too and ok i will double check all my grounds and it would turn on when it wanted to before the rebuilt alternator, i was thinking the cap and rotor must be going out and maybe spark plug wires?

ok more info.
well the car always cranks right there were days when the car acts normal, other days when it would take like a bunch of tries to turn on the car and this started happening before i rebuilt the alternator.
then my battery would be dead cause you know my alternator started to go out so i got it rebuilt, and i got my battery fully charged at autozone. and well as in today even with the rebuilt alternator the battery still too low to turn on the car.
i mean the battery had some charge maybe enough to turn on the car if the car would turn on first try, but after say a few cranks battery just got too low.
so im guessing the battery aint charging right.
but what could be causing all this?

just because your battery is only a few months old doesn't mean that you dont have a bad battery. I work at autozone, and I have seen brand new batteries have a dead cell.. this could be your issue. get a 100% charge on the battery and have it load tested at the correct cold cranking amps and go from there. if it is good you should check into your starter as well, burnt brushes will cause inconsistent starting issues. so the big info needed here is: when you do have a full charge on the battery do you still get starting failure??? if so check your starter
edit: and what I mean by "check your starter" is actually take it off and shake it.. if you have a bunch of play in the bendix(starter internals) than it is more than likely shot.. if it seems okay tho go and get it bench tested and listen for any rough noises.
good luck guy, little things like this can be annoying problems. -Kay
edit edit: oh and if both your battery and starter are fine you can check for a draw by disconnecting the negative on your battery and connecting a simple test light between the negative terminal and negative cable.. if it lights up you have a draw. just make sure your keys are off and doors are closed lol.. and your light tester has to be a simple no internal battery tester, just a bulb on the inside.

okay thanks ill do that, and the battery was fully charged yesterday and i drove the car yesterday got home parked the car for the night i wake up to take my bro to school and car didnt wanna start cause battery was low. so it lost all the charge right away pretty much im guessing
i just re read the thread and noticed that u said it did crank so when it cranks is it agressive at first or does it sounds real slow moving? also did u have the shop or parts store u went to do a battery capacity test on top of checking the voltage?

the car cranks fast if battery is charged and it gets slower as battery has less power well autozone checked the battery they told me they checked everything and is fine but i dont know.
