Double check 2 wire IACV swap 96 EX
I'm finally swapping the intake and PCM on my 96 EX (originally automatic) to complete the 5 speed swap. I promised myself I would not do a halfway job, and this is the last item to make the swap complete. I removed the 3 wire IACV connector and installed a two wire connector that fits the new IACV. I ended up with several of the proper round connectors, but my question is about the wire colors and orientation. Several of the "new" connectors have a green wire on the same side as the connector latch clip, black wire on the other side. But one does not - it has different colors altogether.
For the sake of the swap, is the green wire supposed to be the one closest to the connector latch clip?
I have the car's harness color codes and the pcm pin swap info, but I just wanted to make sure I don't hook my IACV up backwards. Not sure what kind of problems that would cause.

I did continue looking. For future reference, the green wire on the two wire IACV connector is the one closest to the latch, the black is opposite the latch. I got the car started, and it seems to run like a champ! 5 speed swap complete!
