Anyone of you running turbo on an old accord engine? any problems? my 94 lx has 140k and im debating if i should drop a used drag kit in it....i got a decent deal but im just worried my engine can't take it since i don't want to rebuild it yet....it's running absolutely fine right now and i'll probably be running 6-7 lbs. of boost....i've heard that f22 can last awhile but i just don't want to put it on and keep having to go fix **** every now and then...any comments?

 

well when you run force-induction type of stuff, it's always important to do the internals first.

do a compression test first... if the engine is still healthy...go for it.

 

do like the above said.. compression and/or leakdown if you can.

if all looks well boost the **** out of it. and in the meantime build you up a real motor.
