i know these exist, obviously china copies, but with shipping, they are only like 10$ cheaper.
i just cant believe nobody has found an off the shelf clamp without the tial logo on it that is under 36$

i saw on one of these threads a blueprint of the turbine flange. it indicated the angle was 20 deg. i bet you dollars to donuts there is a compatible flange out there...ill update when i find one....unless one of you monkeys do first!

really? i mean its not like tial is making clamps, they just order them and have the logo engraved. that same place that makes them i gaurentee you makes them for others, and doesnt charge 36$ a clamp. just need to find one that fits.
just put in a quote to clampco with all the dimmensions.....
i asked for a total of 10 and if they have one that is off the shelf that would work.
i know a custom clamp would probably be at least just as expensive since im sure tial buys more than 10 at a time...

ive spent the last two days doing nothing buy clamp research. i am now an expert on vband clamps! hahah
i have found a clamp that is OE on a domestic car, and matches the dimensions of tial's turbine inlet flanges, however it is sold for about the same price. The good news is that it is still found on recent cars, and it is a very popular car, so you can score this vband at a junk yard for probably a few bucks. it is also made by a reputable company.
im going to buy one and find out how well it fits, but i spoke with the manufacturer, and the dimensions are all spot on (outer diameter of flange, innter diameter of the V part of the flange, angle of the V part, and thickness of the two flanges mated up at the OD of the flange, and ID of the V part).

here is a picture of the clamp, i will give part number and the make/model/year it is found on once i physically verify it works.

i think this would work as well.
the v gap loogs good, and the OD is about right.
it says 400 deg operating temp, but i bet thats according to the gasket used. with no gaket, its just a piece of 304ss
