Default remote starter install?

i have a 2000 honda accord lx. im thinking about installing a remote starter and im just curious on how difficult that would actually be. if anyone has any experience in installing one, your input would be appreciated.

If you've never done it before and are not comfortable sorting through wires and soldering I would not attempt it.

I did computer engineering, am very confident in my soldering skills and my alarm install took 3 ~10 hour days for me to do. Granted it was more than just a remote start but going through wiring diagrams and mapping stuff out is not for the unskilled.

I have no worries about my skills in soldering and sorting out wires, its just that i know that some cars it takes only 2 or 3 wires to rig it up and with other cars its more involved. Im just looking to see if anyones done it on my specific car to so i kno what to expect in the amount of time it takes and whatnot.

The '96 Accord I did had ~8 heavier gauge wires if I recall strictly for the ignition portion access from the steering column and then because it was a manual I also had to bypass the clutch switch. Getting the solder to flow through those thicker wires was a pain. It was OBDII as well so I cannot imagine your 6th gen being much more difficult.
