Default OEM HID in a reflector bowl?

i know everyone bitches about HIDs in a non-projector housing....but then why did honda see it fit to put HIDs in the DC5 headlamp?

Those are HID reflector headlights. Other cars that had HID reflectors include the 99-03 Acura TL, 00-03 Acura CL, the RL from that same period, and the IS300. There are more, but I can't think of them right now.

HID reflectors are made specifically for HID's. They're not the same as halogen reflectors.

it just seems like whatever dude is behind me with HIDs blinds the crap out of me, whether or not it is OEM or aftermarket.

Some of them are pretty bad. Certain BMW's and the late model Cadillac's, specifically the Escalade, are absolutely blinding.

sucks even worse when your eyes are sensitive to light driving at night im like dying lol

my eyes are extremely sensitive at night..

That's what window tint and switching the rear-view mirror to it's "night mode" are for.
