I'm new to these forums so I apologize if i'm asking in the wrong area...

I recently got my hands on a 93' DX hatch.. The top of the engine is blown and i'd like to just replace the entire engine as the current one has over 195,000 miles...

My question is.. What are my options when it comes to engine replacements? I am brand new to EG's and Honda's in general.. I have always had VW's

If its not to much to ask.. What would the price difference be between a salvaged motor.. and a new replacement?

Cannot answer these questions. It's a local thing. You can order one with low miles online from a place like Hmotors, or even Ebay or call local salvage yards and do some comparisons. You can call Honda direct for a new engine but I wouldn't.
