96 gsr, good distributor but spark
I need to help to start up my car, 96 gsr was running good ever since, over night the car just didnt wanted to start anymore, battery and distributor is new, i had it running on a chipped p72, i change to a p28 to see if its the problem but still wont start and no spark
I had a similar issue. It ended up being the ignition coil, which is inside the distributor. I know you said that you just replaced it, but I would unplug it and test the electrical resistance inside the coil. The spec can be found in the 94 Integra service manual circulating on multiple torrent download websites.
the coil is good because i tried the new distributor on my friends car and it started up his car right away, but when i put it back in my car it wont give spark, firing order is also correct, like ever since it mess up, when i bought the new distributor i could only able to start it up twice, that day i pull it out the driveway and went down the block then the rpm went 3k-5k up and down and shuts off and now it dont want to turn on all at.
Things to check...
Do you have power at the distributor assembly, black/yellow?
Do you hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the ign. switch on?
If not or even if you do, check for power on IPG1 and IPG2 at the ECU/ECM, [power supplied by fuel injection relay in the PGM-FI Main Relay] only two (2) yellow/black leads to the ECU/ECM. 94
