i just swapped in my B20b into my crx si. everything was fine when i had it in my hf. now i have cel 15 and it wont start. ive checked all grounds. ive rebuilt my dizzy and even bought a new one. any advice would be great.

 

check your wires? thats a wired code to get on a swap. id think your distributor was bad but you say its all good. whats your wiring like? is the engine harness the si harness? or some other modded harness?

 

its the si harness but i got it from rywire.

 

well you say you rebuilt the distributor? did they have two options for a coil based on who made the dizzy? id try swapping over to a known working distributor just to get that out of the way

 

sounds to me like you are trying to use a HF engine harness with the Si chassis harness, which won't work - what are the wire colors in the round 8-pin connector at the driver's side firewall connection?

i just check the 8 pin round plug and the colors of the wires are different, so ill go swap over the harness and let you know. thanks for the help on that one i never know that crap. learn something new everyday. thanks.
