IN 94 Jeep Cherokee. Lifted, Locked, 35" tires F/T
I have here my 94 Cherokee that I just recently got my hands on. I like it but I'm in love with hondas and can't shake it so the Jeep has to go. It has 179xxx miles on it and will slowly go up until sold/traded. It is an automatic.
Here's a list of the modifications
-6" Rubicon Lift
-Yukon zip locker
-chromoly axles not sure of brand
-chrysler? 8.8 rear end(was told chrysler but thought ford did the 8.8's)
-Hooker headers to muffler ending before the rear axle
-throttle body spacer
-new air filter
-has a chip, not sure of brand. runs much better with it plugged in though
-35" bfg mud terrains and a 5th on full size rim on top of the....
-roof rack(includes shovel and axe)
-4 hella offroad lights mounted on top
-2 unknown brand lights mounted near the wipers on the fenders(not hooked up but should be when I take her home to the garage)
-Reese tow package
-interior is fair, few cracks in the dash leather. 1 hole. overall not bad though.
-new grant steering wheel
Here's the recent maintenance
-new starter
-new calipers
-new rotors
-new pads
-new axle seals
-new pinion seals
-reman transmission and transfer case
-new u joints and hardware
-new harmonic balancer
the bad
-has heat, but there's shorts when you turn it on. previous owner said the a/c needed bypassed because the compressor is causing the short. can be done w/ an a/c bypass belt or get a new compressor.
-no radio
-dent on passenger side just above the rear wheel well
-suspension squeaks a little while driving
-needs ball joints sometime. I'm personally not too worried about it right now but in a month or so it will need attention. (might be replaced before sale)
This Jeep runs extremely well. Never missed an oil/differential/trans fluid change. Will cruise highway speeds with some tire vibration but has good road manners. NO DEATH WOBBLE
The steering rack is very solid. It will eat through mud no problem. Feels like you cant get stuck when you drive it but I'm sure there's some mudhole somewhere that could swallow her up. I would like to trade for CLEAN 1g DSM's, 92-00 civics(no four doors), Integras(maybe), 90's imprezas w/ motor swaps. And I love h2b's =]
Thanks for looking
