Default Instaling my lower spark plug tube seals

i'm just about ready to install my lower spark plug tube seals (the ones you gotta remove the rocker assembly for) on my 90 civic dx 1.5.

i've watched some youtube vids and it seems some people put it a TDC and some dont. can i just lift the rocker assembly off and and place back on after installing the seals? i know i gotta make sure the arms are all in contact with the top of the valves, but is there anything else i shouldknow before starting?

thanks!

Yes, on the cam gear there is a mark on the side that will line up with a mark on the timing cover.

id read up on timing and what not. id definitely set the car to tdc. buuuut if your a cool guy there is ways to keep the timing right without having to actually reset the timing belt also a torque wrench would be a good thing to have. and dont take the head apart hot

if you put a zip tie on either side of the cam gear (as tight as you can get them) and keep the belt taught when you take the came off (e.i. use a bungee cord, or rope to hang the cam gear from your hood)you can usually get it back together without having to do much more. gl

Put the motor at TDC, less headches later. Takes all of 2 seconds.

I'm confused, why remove or even touch the cam? Back off lash adjusters all the way, remove valvetrain, Re&Re seals, install valve train, set valve lash - done! Cam belt and cam are not touched.
