B16a1 jumped timing, hit valves?
My 91' CRX B16a1 jumped the timing belt yesterday and i'm wanting to know if it will have bent any valves or do these engines not do that?
I have had a quick look and the cam pulleys are both in the same position going by their timing marks so it must be on the crank. The belt is still on the car and in one piece and when the engine is cranked over it does so smoothly and will no clunking or knocking noises like anything is hitting.
Any info people?

They are interference engines, so yes, there is a possibility of bent valves if it did indeed jump.
Set the cams to their proper position and take a look at the crank.
If it's off, set it properly and at least do a compression test.
Might be a good idea to swap out the timing belt, and might as well do the water pump while you're in there.
