A SOHC camshaft has both the intake and exhaust lobes on the same shaft. They do go "bump" in the night. Your vehicle should already have a camshaft in it, what's wrong with it? Consider yourself "learned".
Okay, Okay... enough of the teasing. What exactly are your goals? Completely stock Honda engines don't get great gains from camshafts. The reason being most of them tend to flow very well from the factory. Are you wanting to move your torque around or maybe your horsepower? It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish in deciding on what cam to run.

Again... in stock form you aren't going to gain much...
Here take a look at this...

It's not too in depth but it will at least give you an idea of what you are dealing with. I posted all about camshafts here somewhere recently if you really want to learn something. If I can find it I will post it for you since your search is broken.

It may go beyond the scope of what you are looking for... but believe me, I can go more in depth than that.

yo vem Neva is pretty much right bro if you keep your motor stock as is it aint gonna do much of a help just maybe bump a bit of tq and hp and move the curve around. either way if you do a cam its best if you replace the springs and valves for better results and for sure get rid of the a6 manifold and upgrade to a better flowing manifold bro..

You should probably stay in the '92-00 with that type of information. B20 is a B-Series DOHC NON-VTEC head and he is working with SOHC... They are not compatible in the slightest. The only DOHC head that can be made to work is the D16A1/DOHC ZC and it's not easy.

Did you not even read what I posted? I gave more information than the OP even wanted to know or could comprehend. Why in the world does he need to go somewhere else to get "better help"?
