Huge oil leak near atts, need help!
Was driving normally and my oil light popped up. Shut the car off and looked under it. Big puddle near the back of the engine on the drivers side. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

No one on this site can physically see your car so you're going to have to look for yourself but if you want a guess over the internet I'll give you one, oil cooler o-ring.
Could be oil filter backed out, not there? Big amount of oil leak happen quick and driver side near atts Oil filter on top engine driver side and below to the right a little is the atts.
I checked the oil filter and drain plug, both are still in their normal places and are nice and tight. Where is the oil cooler ring? I have a spare atts sitting in my garage, so an explanation could be easy. Some other things I can recall are that the firewall is soaked with oil on the drivers side and it's definately coming from somewhere around the top of the atts. Sorry, when I first posted this I was stuck on the side of the road, freezing, just trying to see if it could be something simple to fix, other than the filter or drain plug. I'll try to take some pics over the next few days. I gotta get it running asap!
Thanks a whole lot guys, I really appreciate all the help

Oil cooler o-ring is self explanatory, behind the oil cooler that the oil filter spins onto, they can leak very badly, cold weather makes them even more brittle.
Got it out aside from disconnecting the oil feed line. Couldn't see an o-ring on the surface of it, though.. i'll remove the whole thing tomorrow and get to the bottom of this. Thanks again, minilogo.
