Stock/Aftermarket alarm wiring on a 93 accord?
I'm replacing the stock alarm on my 93 accord, since the remote broke, I can't get a replacement anymore, and I want a more robust 2 way model. I'm running into 2 issues.
1. I've looked up charts for the 93 accord with the color codes and locations for the wires, but they don't seem to match up to my car. For example all the charts say doorlock wires are black/white and black/red, however in my car they are green (I know its the right ones because they actually have a little label flag on them).
2. Does anyone know how I can find out the wiring output of the stock "Honda security system"? It would be 100 times easier to hook up my new alarm if I could just take the wiring bundle that went to the factory alarm, and splice right into it.

The issue is there was not a "Factory" alarm system on a 93. It would have been an add on by the local dealer, or they would farm it out.
Haven't seen a "label flag" on factory wires?

The12volt.com has wiring info. Step one is to remove that security system. Don't use old wiring that you can't trust. Do it right the first time, and you will have confidence in your new security system. Or have it done professionally
