Default Coilover 96 LX Install Tips

Hello honda peeps... anybody have some tips for installing coilovers, i'm getting some off of ebay and will be installing myself. They are adjustable and I only want to drop it about an inch, so do I have to worry about anything else like blowing out my shocks?
Thanks!

I would recommend buying shocks eventually. The bigger the drop the more significant the need for shocks is. Since your only dropping it 1" your stock shocks will last a while.

something to look out for are those rubber rings that the kit comes with. most people i know do not put all of them on because the fat ones are almost impossible, but if you dont you might hear sqeaking noises down the road. another thing to look out for are the washers that go on top of the struts. make sure theyre not upside down. I know almost everybody knows this but i thought it might help just in case . i wouldnt really worry about those shocks unless theyre old.

Thanks for the replies. I won't worry about the shocks for now but can't they just be adjusted if nesessary?
Thanks!
