I have an ACT extreme pressure plate and a organinc street disc.
It works for me. Dont know exactly how much "around 250 hp" is but I think you'll be OK.

I had an ACT street disk, heavy duty pressure plate.
It worked good til I switched to an H22.
Good quality clutch.
