Hello everyone. Looking into getting a Bi-xenon kit for my hatchback. I know I want a 6000k kit and I know I want a brand name kit. That's it though, I really couldn't find many facts on the different name brand kits. I was leaning torward a Phillips kit but now I'm not so sure. Experiences and comments are welcome. Thanks for the help.

 

Why do you want HID's?


I have DDM, but, from what I have been told about the company now, I wont touch their stuff ever again.

When this kit craps out, I am either going with a retro fit, or Osram nightbreaks, or Philips xtream bulbs.

 

Cheap or brand name they all produce enough glare to blind oncoming traffic. I'm going to try a set of those Osrams myself.

But to the OP I currently have HIDs made by a company called Top Speed Performance. They've lasted me a year and change, still going strong also.

Not really "plug-n-play".

 

Not such thing as a plug and play retro, unless you buy it already finished.
Which can get pretty expensive quick.
