magnaflow cat ?

im wondering if this universal cat would work and not give me a cel its for a 98 ex ...or would i need the cat to have the o2 sensor hole in a different spot not in front of the screen like this one

it should work as long as the o2 sensor bung is on the outlet side(so it after the exhaust gases pass thru the cat)
