Icon3 ZC Clutch??

What clutch kit (what car/year/model)do I buy for this tranny? i know this question has been asked a million times and I have looked through a lot of web sites. But they all say different things so i get a lil confused. So if someone can please give me a definitive answer please. I greatly would appreciate it.

yeah that is true.....if you have the DOHC ZC you'll have to order for a 88-89 Integra......but make sure it is a five speed ZC. I'm not sure on the splin count on the input shaft but on the very tip there will be rings. Two rings means it's a 90 or later tranny. One ring is 88 and lower I believe.....basically what I'm saying is make sure you buy the clutch kit for the tranny you have. Sometimes you cant just go off of what motor you got.

i have read people using 90-91 civic/crx si/dx kits, others say 89 civic/crx kit only. **** is confusing lol. so the only real way to find out is to drop my tranny to check the input shaft?

Yeah I would to just be sure what you need to get. I mean if you're gonna be doing the clutch yourself you'll have to drop the tranny anyway.

88-91 JDM DOHC ZC (3rd gen) uses the same clutch as the 88-91 CRX/Civic Si - all of the rules pertaining to number of splines, diameter of clutch, etc. are the same as for the 88-91 CRX/Civic Si
