Icon3 Need help with ep3 0341 code....

Honda- tech sup guys??

Okay this is what happen ,

I lent my boy my car , and while he was driving it the car stopped outta the blue. So I went to go meet him and lucky I had a code reader. So the code reader came up as 0341. Camshaft positioning sensor bank A. So I changed the sensor and it still didn't start up as normal . It's starts for 5-10 sec then dies. So then I went to go buy a VTC sensor. I changed it and on the service bulletins its states a ecu is required once sensor is changed. So I towed the car to Honda in Staten island. Now I went there and told the guy all that is needed is a ecu update. He calls me saying its your timing chain. I thought it was a bluff. But apparently not so I said why not. So I get a call today and now the guy menetioned about a cam . It's either they don't.know what there doing or there really trying to rape me. I'm pretty much $1500 in already.. has anybody else have a problem like I am helping. I remember somebody menetioned about a Cam acuator.

Really need help...

Thanks.

wow even I haven't come across that. I've seen some people jump timing but they have large cams and etc. I've seen rumor about timing chain stretching but I don't believe that one myself. That dealership sucks. . . But what about the cam is bad that they want to change it?!

sounds like your timing jumped -you got code for camshaft position sensor cause timing is off thats why car will not start and the service guy is calling you about a cam along with belt and tensioner. i wonder if he ask you if they can pull the head-possible bent valves or more- hope your boy wasnt beating the **** out your ride but damage has been done- try to see if you can pull the car out from the dealer and just save your money and get a whole swap. i feel for you,son

Sup guys... Okay here's what went down. Okay so I got the timing chain done, and from there the tech showed me that it was my intake camshaft that was sorta messed up. Luckily I.haf euro type R cams laying in the garage. So now he dis everything and no code popped up. By now I'm excited as hell. A real tuff start. The only way the car will stay on is if I keep my foot on the gas pedal. So the master tech had menetioned to me I need a new Iac and that the car has pretty much no idle. So I ordered the idle and while he was trying to see what's going on another code popped up. Too rich fuel it said. But as that was going on we saw that the map sensor voltage was almost at 3.0 ... So I was figuering that mayb I should get a adjustable regualtor but they said it would be a pain in the *** .. pretty much there saying get a kpro...

Any input ??

do you have kpro? If not do not get an adjustanble fuel regulator. Also you can control the IACV with kpro. Ive had to adjust mine several times.
