Icon3 30000k slim hids for freshly painted Elec. Blue 92 Si Hatch?

My 92 si hatch is getting painted right now and just wondering what temperature/color of hids would look best with polished 99si wheels and fresh blue electronic si paint? any ideas?

Seriously. HID's aren't fashion.

Plug & Play kits are bad for light output for starters, and going by whatever color matches your car's color is the wrong way to go about light output.

That's the closest to OEM range at least.

I agree with the pink to maximize the gayness.

I thought white light (from 3500k-4000k) was the best for vision. I am also imagining how they use red tinted screens to cast less light (my phone has an option to use a red filter to make it easier on the eyes and to cast less noticeable light from the screen to the surrounding area.)

Yea, the optimal light level would be around 4000k. Most OEMs are around sunlight level, about 4300k.

3000k is yellow, anything toward the red end of the spectrum is good for night vision and inclement weather, but yellow may run into legal issues in headlight use, red definitely will. I knew a couple ricers around here using yellow PNP's in their headlights, it was distracting as ****.

Red would definitely get you into trouble though, only emergency vehicles can have red forward facing lights.

I just recently was talking with someone at one of our shops out here and he said the same thing "Yea, the optimal light level would be around 4000k. Most OEMs are around sunlight level, about 4300k."

3k is 'JDM'
5-6k is king
8-12k is rice
15k+ is just ridiculous.

IMO anyways.
