What starter do I need
I think I have the wrong starter in my car, the gears do not appear to be engaging right
I'm worried because the engine was a automatic and I put a manual transmision on it as well as an exedy flywheel
would the problem be from switching to manual tranny?
there showing me two types of starters. a denso nippon and a mitsuba
I have motsuba, the nippon is for automatic

the starters are the same, regardless which one you choose. I believe the only difference is the plug layout. one is on the side, one is on the top, if i am not mistaken.
Do the gears not engage every time? or just sometimes? its common for them not to engage every once in a while, but every time means there is some problem, which ?might? be related to your choice of flywheel.
