when ever my car is in idle it makes this whining supercharger waaaaaaa sound any idea what it might be some people on other reviews say thats just how that engine sounds others say its a vacuum issue

Def not "just how it sounds" lol...mine doesn't have this sound. Give a little more info though...when did it start doing, general area where its coming from, loss of power, funky idle (up and down) etc. More info the better folks can help you pinpoint the problem

 

i bought the engine off some guy it always made that sound i lost the guys number so i couldn't ask him. I think its coming from the right side of the engine ware the timing belt is, not really much loss of power, some times it idle's high at 2-3 k rmp some times if i rev it a few times it idles normally also the ac belt is not on.

Do you still have power steering? Did you change the fluid recently?

 

timing belt was put on too tight

 

yea i still got power steering i did fresh oil fresh filter and fresh gear oil

 

I put the autozone fluid in my ps and got a weird whining sound until i got some honda fluid

 

Could be the tensioner pulley.
