my b16 was running perfectly fine about three days ago.

i ran out of gas in my driveway (lucky me)

next day i went out to crank it, and it was running rough, like on 2 or 3cylinders.

today i did the following
-replaced all four spark plugs
-put 10gals of fuel in it.


started it up.
ran rough again, so i was like "WTF?"

saw a small fuel leak by injectors, so i pulled the rail off, and i replaced #3 injector since the o-ring was jacked up.

installed everything back, cranked up it, same thing....

NOW i finally got it to idle, pulled plug #1, and it got worse. put it back in. pulled plug #2, same result....so i know those two cylinders are firing good.

pulled #3 and #4 plug, and nothing....
plugged em back in no improvement...i also undid the injector clips for #3 and #4 and nothing..


so now im thinking low compression in those 2 cylinders? how is that possible with it driving perfectly fine even into my driveway??

i checked for CEL codes, and i am throwing TDC sensor code, IACV (seemed to work perfectly fine last week and before this messup) and im also throwing code 17 VSS. which i double checked connection to the cluster and the unit on the trans.

compression test will be done tomorrow
will get back.
any ideas?

 

ok so the car has been ran bone dry outta gas at least twice since i have done the swap.

cylinders not getting fuel?
something clogged. if so what?
