EM1 - CEL and idle problem
just had all 3 of my fuel lines replaced. got the car back and the idle was high around 2k when the motor is cold, which is expected when its cold. but i didnt think it would idle that high. then the cel light came on, so im thinkin great and was hopin i just needed to reset the ecu. i reset it the cel went off and the idle went back to 900. well the cel light came back on when i was drivin home from school so im startin to get annoyed. i just reset the ecu again and the cel is off for right now. after i drive the car and come to a complete stop, the idle is at 1500, the idle air valve purges a few times up and down and then the idle calms down to 1k again. i cant pinpoint the culprit problem right now but im thinking my throttle cable needs a litlle bit of slack and/or my idle air valve is a little clogged and just needs to be cleaned. any help on this???
