Rattling noise with Louder Exhaust
I drive an 02 ep3 and i dumb enough to not see a curb in a parking lot and completely ran over it with the front right end of my car.
My exhaust got much louder and there is a slight rattling noise along with vibration to the steering wheel coming from the front right end of my car.
The rattling noise, i can hear when i stay in neutral rev it up and when it starts to come down, i can hear it towards the end.
The vibration starts at around 3000 RPM when i'm driving it.
The car doesn't seem like it's slower, but it's definitely louder and some funky noises that i swear weren't there are coming from the front right end of the car.
I'm slightly pissed and super worried, someone please help!

Have you lifted the car and looked underneath it yet?!
Chances are you threw it out of alignment when you hit or did something along that line to create the vibration. As far as the noise you probably bent or broke something and it's hitting now.
If you haven't physically looked under the car I recommend you get off the computer and do that first lol You might just find the issue.
Is it a stock exhaust system?

i did that first thing today.
i don't think the alignment got messed up.
the exhaust was bent and it was hitting the bottom of my car.
as for the vibration, i still have to check.
no it's not a stock exhaust system.
Thanks for the reply.

Sounds like you bent something (control arm, tie-rod, ball joint, strut assembly, hub). You could even have bent your rim. Jack the front of the car up and wiggle the wheel/tire. Up and down is bad ball joint while front to back is a bad tie-rod or tie-rod end. If you can wiggle it all the way around you probably need a new hub assembly.
