wut do i need to run a p12 ecu on a non vtec f22 in a 97 dx accord

 

assuming it is the obd1 version you get the obd2-obd1 jumper harness, plug it all in, then get ready for things to run poorly. if its obd2 you can just pug it in and have your car run poorly. if you had an f22a1 it would work great though.

 

Why do you want to run that ECU?

 

so why would the car run poorly i was told that it will run better wit the p12 i know my d series but im learning about the f series so i dnt know much

 

the p12 is tuned specifically for the f22a1 in the 92-96 prelude and 90-93 accords. the cylinder heads are fairly different between the f22b2 and the f22a1. at BEST you wil gain 5 hp and lose 2 lb/ft of torque. if you want to do something worthwhile get a p06, obd2-1 jumper and get it tuned for your car.
