Default 949 Wheel fitment

I'm looking to purchase some 15x9 +36 949 6UL's for my 94 4dr Civic, but I'm not sure about fitment. I've heard others say they may hit the trailing arms in the rear. I am personally concerned if they will fit in the fenders(I'm planning to cut the fender lips but would prefer not to pull). Anybody with experience on this setup? The tire will be a 225/45/15 Hankook.

As long as you roll the front fenders and cut the rear quarter panels, you should be able to clear that setup without using too much negative camber.

225/45R15 would be a stretch on a 9" wide wheel, plus as mentioned above will need fender and probably suspension mods as well......

Thanks for the input. Any one else try this or a similar setup on an EG?

I got that set up on my hatch. They do hit in a couple places front and rear and the tailing are will hit. what i had to do is roll ur fenders, extended wheel studs, wheel spacers front and rear and i am running a 205/50/ and plus if u don't already have your adjustments for camber rear toe and ext.... will make it easier for u to make them fit. also i didn't have to cut nothing

run a normal sized wheel and you wont have any problems.
