Gauge questions
Hi i have a questions i have a 2001 Honda civic ex 4dr and im getting my engine replaced the engine haves 126k miles and im getting a 2003 civic ex engine that haves 66k miles so my question is can i put the gauge from the 03 civic on my 01 civic and will it say 66k miles ? will it even fit ?
if i leave my old one will it still say 126k?

The clusters aren't exactly the same. Size and shape, yes, but you'll need to re-pin the cluster.
Here's a DIY from the FAQ's...
Yes, the mileage is stored in the cluster. If you only swap the engine, the mileage on your cluster will still stay 126k.
If you decide to change the cluster, document the 60k difference between the mileage of the chassis and the cluster. You will also need to notify potential buyers of the change in order to avoid any legal troubles.
If you decide to only change the engine, just make note of the mileage difference between the engine and the chassis at the time of the swap.

thanks its because the place where i got the new 03 civic engine with 66k comes with the gauge and i wanted to know if its easy to install on my 01 civic ? is there a pic or videos? anything will help me
