Do I have my o2's right?? B16 (Big pic inside dial ups beware)
well they're plugged together right, but the question is if they're wired to the ecu right. did you get a pre-made harness like hasport? or did you make it? if its a premade one then you're fine. if you custom made it, you wanna make sure you swapped the plugs with eachother. i'll explain more if this is the case
I used HASports and am confident I plugged everything in right. I've been doing alot of reading on the O2s and symptoms. My car seemed to kind of stumble and then catch up around 5k yesterday on a trip back from getting the exhaust welded up. After it warmed up it kind of went away. I am throwing code 17, so I'm not sure if the Check engine light has anything to do with it. The symptom almost felt like vtec which I know is entirely impossible with code 17. I have no cable running into the speedometer.
Anymore ideas?? let me know.
Thanks

well what is code 17? have you looked it up? keep in mind that the check engine light is what tells you to check for a code, so yes, it does have something to do with it.
You said that you had a 91 B16, right? well a 91 B16 would be a JDM motor, and JDM motors don't have suffixes. It looks in the pic like it says B16A2....which would be the USDM 99/00 Civic Si motor. but....it also looks like there is a serial number underneith your engine code...if it was a JDM first gen B16 it would mean that it came off a XSi integra...since it starts with one. Im confused....the JDM 1st gen B16 would have 2 single wire O2 sensors...but if it was a USDM 99/00 Si motor...then it would have 1 heated 4 wire O2... some one explain this to me...

you can't tell by looking at that pic.. it's either the car hesitates or not.. if it does switch the pins on the ecu. if it doesn't hesitate.. leave it alone
switch pins C8 and C16 on your ecu. this is whats causing the hesitation before 5k/WOT.

I guess I could of asked " Should the front O2 go to the Green plug, and the rear O2 go to the white plug? In a perfect world using Hasports wiring. I dont know if its impossible to wire it differently? 1st swap for me.
Thanks to everyone that caught the B16a2 stamp. Who knows where its from? Confuses me also. Everything is same as 1st gen, has the XSI intermediate, and a J1 tranny.

that's what i said..... i said that "JDM motors dont have suffixes". maybe you misread it.
lets refresh the series of events....

"Japan didnt use suffix's..... other country's did."
Lets help comprehend it.:
-At first you are asking him, to double check, that he indeed did have a japanese motor.
- Then you deduce that since it says its a B16A2 that it is a 99/00 USDM Si motor.
-Next you see a serial number from the block and since it starts with 1, declare that it is indeed a JDM 1st gen B16 from an integra XSi.
-Next you see the 2 1 wire O2 sensors and get confused.
-Lastly you ask someone to explain it to you.....
Thats where I came in.. 1st gen B16A's were available in other countries besides Japan, yet you continue to refer to it as a JDM 1st gen B16. JDM implies Japanese Domestic Market. I had simply stated that they were avilable outside of Japan, but not in the US.
There that wasnt that hard. So instead of trying to make me look like an incompetant asshat who cant read, we now understand better. Thank you drive though.
blah its 1 million series obd0, off an eu integra

I'll have some more pics later that I can send you links if your still interested. Its the exact same as B16a though. It does have machined rails and a p30 stamp on the head which supposedly some 1st gens do not. Pistons are Pr3 -12 I was able to use the b16's stock rear bracket, and 91 integra axles.
thread is off topic, but I think I got the help I need on o2's thanks!
