93 LX starting issue
I've looked through the other threads to make sure no one else had this issue. So here is the background:
Bought my Accord used about 9 months ago with 169k miles. When I bought it, I asked about what services had been done and all the services were up to date. Timing belt was changed at 80k and 160k. Changed the plugs, new battery. She was running great. I now have 173k miles. I've been averaging about 25 MPG in town. Most of my trips are between 5-10 miles.
A couple weeks ago, I drove into work and parked. I was waiting on one of my guys to show up so sat there for a bit. I got a little chilly so started it to turn the heat on. I ran for about 5 minutes, then the engine cut off. It has never stalled on me before. I tried to restart it, but all it would do is crank but not turn over. Looked under the hood, couldn't see anything obvious. Tried again and realized that I couldn't hear the fuel pump working when I turned the key on. Followed the trouble shooting procedures in the Honda Service Manual, checking all fuses (all good), PGM-FI relay (tested good), etc and so replaced the fuel pump, strainer, and fuel filter. Still wouldn't start. I loosened the banjo bolt at the beginning of the fuel rail to make sure I was getting fuel, and it sprayed out when I turned the key on. Tightened it back up and tried to start it again. It started and ran for a little over a minute then died. Tried to restart, nothing. I loosed the service bolt at the end of the fuel rail, to make sure I got fuel there, and it came out. Tried to restart it and it fired up for a second then died, and won't restart.
Basically, I'm at the end of my knowledge/abilites. The only thing left that I can think of is to have it towed into a shop, but trying to fix this on my own to a) save money, and b) take care of my car myself. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Its very unlikely. You mentioned on your original post that you are getting fuel on the banjo bolt by the fuel rail when you crank the motor thats why I eliminated fuel pump and the main relay.
remove gas cap and use an air compressor to shoot air through the fuel return line that comes off the fuel pressure regulator(fpr) to make sure its not clogged. also make sure the vacuum supply to the fpr is not clogged or broken.
test the fpr
test the fpr
And I would really check for spark.....
Could be something (ICM, coil) getting hot and giving up. When the no start happens, check for 12v at the BLK/YEL wire at the dist. Then check for spark at the plugs (timing light or other means). See if this helps.

Checked for spark at the plug and wasn't getting any. Checked for spark after the coil, didn't get any. Used mulitmeter on coil and found that it was bad. Replaced it and she's running like a champ again. Thanks for the advice.
