so i got the motor in there, ran fine, even drove from dallas to albuquerque (12hours) no problems at all, till it gets cold here, now i got the knock sensor code, and the car wont start. and if it does start it runs rough for a min until the car starts getting warm then idles fine, but if i turn it off then try to start it, it wont start. I'm trying to replace the knock sensor as we speak, god damn intake mani is a bitch to get out. but it came to my mind, i think i still have an a3 alternator in there, could this be an issue.
please help, i got to get this thing moving i can only take so many sick days

Note: i didnt do the swap i had a mechanic do it for me.

Nah the alternator wouldn't change anything in this scenario. At least not IMO

You're running Kpro I assume?

 

No I'm using the stock a2 ecu, i had it rekeyed at honda though.
